This route provides a great chance to visit some of the most important sights of Naxos in the best possible way, by hiking.

Naxos has an important historical and cultural imprint during the ages, especially during the Byzantine Empire.

A piece of strong evidence is the plethora of religious temples that were built in the 6th, 11th and 13th century AD, which you will have the chance to visit during this 7 km route starting from Halki, the old administrative and commercial center of Naxos with buildings that reflect the wealth of the time.

Continuing to Moni village with its traditional architecture of narrow paths and stone-built houses and finishing at Kaloxilos, a beautiful village full of olives, oak and plane trees.

It is a place known for its beautiful houses with their rare flowers in their yards.
