Freediving course in Amorgos (SSI Level 2)
Description
Take your freediving to the next level! Now that you have familiarized yourself with the purest form of diving, you will learn how to enhance your underwater potential.
During this SSI Freediving Level 2 course, you will learn how to get comfortable with being uncomfortable and we will focus on the adaption of our body to the breath-holding effects.
You will gain further knowledge of the mammalian dive reflex and of how humans "activate" these reflexes in order to freedive deeper and longer.
We will work on longer breath-hold, teach you advanced equalization techniques and how to use changing of the buoyancy during the dive to be more efficient on deeper dives.
You will expand your skills of insuring your dive buddy during immersion and improve your rescue techniques.
After completing the SSI Freediving Level 2 course you will have the experience and skills to confidently freedive with your buddy beyond 20 meters to depths of up to 30 meters.

Important information
- Certification Prerequisites: Must be able to swim and be certified Freediving Level 1 (at least 6 logged freediving sessions)
- Academic Sessions: Online training
- Open Water Dives: 4+
- Maximum Training Depth: 30 meters / 100 feet

- All dive/snorkel/excursions will commence as scheduled, without further notice from the tour provider with a 100% refund.
- Refunds will be provided only for cancellations earlier than 24 hours before the tour due to medical reasons.
- Cancellations due to sickness must be justified in writing by a Medical authority.
- Rainy or cloudy weather is no valid reason for cancellation by the client, harbour master recommendations are followed on when to cancel a tour.
- “No Show” without notice in advance is equivalent to a cancellation without notice.
- In case your dive is cancelled due to poor weather, we will first try to find an alternative date. If that is not suitable, for whatever reason, we will provide an instant, no fuss 100% refund.
