Day Trip From Ios To Sikinos Including A Winery Visit
Description
Guided full day tour in a classic Cycladic village, a monastery, an ancient Roman/Greek temple and a local winery with bus transfers included.
Join this very special bus and winery tour and take a chance to explore the charming island of Sikinos and the simple pleasures of traditional island life.
Sikinos is a typical Cycladic island, with terraces, low stone fences and numerable chapels dotting a scenery bathed by the wonderful green and blue waters of the Aegean.
The tour takes place two times per week, every Tuesday & Saturday and it includes a fully guided tour with a bus and a visit and wine tasting at "Manali Winery"
You will visit Sikinos' best viewpoints such as Panagia Pantanassa, the monastery of Zoodochos Pigi and the church of Episkopi.
The departure is from Ios at 09:30 with a speed boat transfer in a twin-engine 10 meter boat, and the return is approximately at 18:00.

Itinerary
The meeting point and departure time is at 09:30 at our kiosk on Mylopotas bay
A tour guide and a bus will wait for you in Sikinos
Your tour starts at the picturesque village, the church of Panagia Pantanssa, the Monastery of Zoodochos Pigi
Then you will take a quick break at a traditional coffee shop
You will then visit the church of Episkopi
Finally, you will go to Manali Winery for a visit and some wine tasting with epic views. Lunch is optional.
Manalis Winery currently produces four wine labels: The SIKINOS White: Assyrtiko, Aidani, and Monemvasia. The SIKINOS Rose: Aidani and Mavrotragano. The SIKINOS Red: Mavrotragano and Mantilaria. The Liosato: Sweet local wine.
